Local Radio Shows

Celtic Music is heard weekly on the following public radio stations. Please keep in mind that without the great support of these stations that grace our area, none of our endeavors would be possible.

At KUSP, 88.9 fm in Santa Cruz there is excellent Celtic music program, 'The Continental Drift,' hosted by Cindy Odom, which airs on Saturday from 1pm to 3pm. You can also listen, 'live' at www.kusp.org which also archives Cindys most recent show for a week for listening.

At KKUP, 91.5 fm in Santa Clara, Celtic Music may generally be heard in the first part of Peter Schwarz's program on Thursday from 7am to 10am, and Dave Stafford hosts a folk program on Friday from 3pm to 6pm with a focus on, 'live' performances. The stations website is at www.kkup.com.

At KPIG, 107.5 fm in Watsonville there is an excellent, 'live' music show, 'Please Stand By,' hosted by John Sandidge, which books Celtic musicians when they're available. You may also listen, 'live' at www.kpig.com.
